4th Year Spanish students loaned $50 to Alfonso and he is currently 16% funded!
Students in our class researched individuals on Kiva.org, presented candidates to the class in Spanish, and we voted on which candidates we wanted to fund.
Alfonso is 39 years old, he is in a common law marriage, and he lives in his own house together with his spouse and their two children, in the district of Colasay, province of Jaén, department of Cajamarca, Peru. The majority of the inhabitants of this place work in agriculture, commerce, and cattle.
Alfonso works in agriculture, specifically in growing coffee, with experience in the job for the past 10 years. He is requesting the loan to buy fertilizers and pay workers. In this way, he will obtain better yield.
Alfonso is a recurrent member of Edpyme Alternativa. He has had two loans which he has paid off punctually.
